I was incorrect when I predicted that it was just going to be a normal story
I think this because it ended in a grim way and i was not expecting that
one thing that surprised me in the story was when the guy's car crashed and he burned an alive

I think this story is intended for students as the author David hill said it is intended for them

2 Choose one of the Level Three statements (going beyond the lines) that you believe is true and explain why you think it is true. Use evidence from the text to support your answer.
Letter: D
This is true because in the text you can see that Alan's parents just buy him everything for him and didn't even make him work for it like the car that his parents brought him, he needed to work for it the hard way for him to understand that everything doesn't just give to you on a gold platter. so I believe that Alan's parents have failed him the right way to live because he would have just gone expecting everything

1 Read the story again. You will see that the start of each paragraph is indicated by an indent. Identify which paragraph we start to see a point of change. paragraph 7
2
Briefly describe the change. when it started to get serious when the principal told him to leave the school

3 How does this point of change help us understand the purpose of this piece of writing?
-- it shows Alan's actions had consequences that led to his untimely demise
